Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
Effective date: July 4, 2026 · Version: v1
This Privacy Policy explains how Trizbit Private Limited ("PerksClub", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in India, handles personal data about business operators — the people who create and manage a business account on PerksClub Business (our app for businesses to run engagement activities and issue coupons to their customers). We serve businesses worldwide, and this policy is written to a global standard.
What this covers — and what it doesn't. This policy is about your data as a business account holder. For data about your own customers that you collect or process through PerksClub, your business is the controller and PerksClub is your processor — governed by our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), not this policy.
1. Who we are
Trizbit Private Limited (incorporated in India), operating as PerksClub, controls your account data. Contact us about privacy, your rights, or any grievance at legal@perksclub.tech — also our grievance / data-protection contact.
2. What we collect
We collect the categories of personal data below. Not all apply to every user — some depend on the features you use — and the specific data may grow as we add features, but it stays within these categories and the purposes in §3:
- Identity & contact — name, email, phone, username, and profile details you provide.
- Business profile & content — business name, type, branding, settings, the activities/coupons/programs you create, and files or content you upload.
- Addresses — business, billing, and shipping addresses.
- Verification (KYC) — business registration number, tax ID (e.g., GST/VAT), government ID, and verification documents, where needed for trust, fraud prevention, or payment compliance.
- Payment & payout — billing details and transaction records (card payments are handled by our payment providers; we don't store full card numbers), and bank/payout and tax details if you receive payments.
- Authentication & security — sign-in / OTP data, session tokens, and a privacy-safe device signal to maintain sessions and detect fraud.
- Device & technical — IP address, device/browser type, operating system, device and advertising identifiers, language, and time zone.
- Location — approximate location (from your IP) and precise/GPS location where you enable it (e.g., location-based offers or in-store redemption).
- Usage & diagnostics — the features and pages you use, actions you take, and log/diagnostic data.
- Camera & device permissions — e.g., QR scanning, notifications, and camera/microphone where a feature uses them.
- Team & sub-users — other people you add to your account (name, email, role).
- Contacts — where you use contact-based invites or referrals.
- Connected accounts & integrations — single sign-on, social, and CRM/POS or other tools you link.
- Transactions & campaigns — coupons issued/redeemed, campaign performance, and sales/redemption records for your account.
- Communications & support — messages, support requests, feedback, and survey responses.
- Marketing & preferences — your contact preferences and how you engage with our messages and ads.
- Inferences — segments, insights, and preferences we derive to personalise and improve the service.
- Data from third parties — information from integrations, partners, or public sources you connect.
- Cookies & similar technologies — see §10.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
- Provide, operate, and secure your account — performance of our contract with you.
- Authenticate you and prevent fraud/abuse — legitimate interests (security).
- Support and respond to requests — contract / legitimate interests.
- Improve, personalise, and develop the service — legitimate interests.
- Marketing, advertising, and measurement — legitimate interests and/or your consent (where required).
- Keep legally-required records (including consent) and comply with law — legal obligation / defending legal claims.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it anytime.
4. Who we share it with
We may share your data with:
- Service providers / sub-processors — hosting and infrastructure, email/SMS delivery, authentication, payments, customer support, and analytics.
- Advertising, marketing & analytics partners — including platforms such as Meta and Google — for marketing, advertising, retargeting, measurement, and analytics (this may involve sharing identifiers or letting them set cookies/pixels).
- Integrations you connect, professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers), authorities (where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity), in a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or asset sale, under the same protections), and anyone else with your consent or at your direction.
Some sharing with advertising partners for cross-context advertising may be considered "selling" or "sharing" under certain laws (e.g., California). You can opt out — see §9 (California) or contact legal@perksclub.tech.
5. International data transfers
We use cloud infrastructure to store and process data currently in the United States and India, and may process it in other regions (such as the EU) as we expand, or via our service providers. Because we operate globally, your data may be transferred across borders — including to countries whose data-protection laws differ from yours. When it is, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms).
6. How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is active. When your relationship with PerksClub ends, we delete or anonymise operational data — except records we must keep for legal reasons, notably consent records, retained up to 7 years from the end of the relationship, then deleted. If you ask us to erase your data, we honour it except where law requires us to keep specific records.
7. How we protect it
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and stricter separation for consent/identity records. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and regulators of incidents where required.
8. Your rights
Subject to your local law, you can access, correct, erase, restrict/object to, or port your data; withdraw consent where we rely on it; and complain to a data-protection authority. To exercise any of these, contact legal@perksclub.tech or use your account settings. We won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. Region-specific rights
EEA / UK. We process on the legal bases in §3; you may complain to your local supervisory authority; transfers use the §5 safeguards. If we ever make a decision about you by solely-automated means with legal or similarly significant effect, you can request human review.
India. You have rights of access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal (contact our Grievance Officer at legal@perksclub.tech), and to nominate another person to exercise your rights; you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
California. You have rights to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context advertising — to opt out, contact legal@perksclub.tech or use our privacy controls. You won't be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Everywhere else. We honour the data-protection rights available under your local law — just contact us.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand and improve usage, and for advertising and measurement (including partners such as Meta and Google). You can control these — where required, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential (e.g., advertising/analytics) cookies, and you can change your choices anytime. Some cookies are necessary for the service to work.
11. Age
PerksClub Business is for businesses and their authorised operators, who must be adults (at least 18). It is not intended for children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. On a material change we publish a new version and — because acceptance is version-tracked — you'll be asked to review and accept the current version before continuing to use PerksClub Business. The date and version at the top show the latest.
13. Contact and complaints
Questions, requests, or grievances: legal@perksclub.tech. You may also complain to your local authority — in India, the Data Protection Board of India; in the EEA/UK, your local supervisory authority.
